Details and Day-by-Day Itinerary of this unique new
getaway:
Our 11th Annual Ireland Getaway for 2010 will depart Boston on
Sunday, November 7th, for an exciting 6 night journey
to County Wicklow. We'll fly into and return
from Dublin... In Bray, we'll be staying for five nights at the
Royal Hotel Bray - directly opposite the coast of the Irish Sea, with
its lovely seaside promenade. The trip includes five nights first class downtown hotel, three
full dinners, all breakfasts including day of arrival, a full
schedule of deluxe motorcoach sightseeing, admissions to all included
attractions, free time in downtown Bray, a day on your own to explore
Dublin, baggage handling at the
hotel, hotel taxes and service, our "famous" document party and much
more! Not included are lunches, two dinners on your own, gratuity to driver/guide, personal expenses
and the required travel insurance protection.
The rate is $1459pp
double, plus departure taxes and travel insurance. Very
limited singles are available at a $229 supplement. Local coach service
from Bloomfield to Boston/Logan will once again be provided
and is at cost (rate TBD). Departure taxes and fees are currently $121pp, subject
to change. Fuel surcharges are a possibility along the way...A deposit of $450pp by check only is due at time
of booking (along with travel protection premium - by check or credit
card). Final payment may be by check (preferred) or credit card
(MC, Visa or AX) and is due by July 1st, 2010. PLEASE call or email immediately if you'd like to join us

NOV 7

NOV 8 |
We depart Boston
on our overnite flight to Dublin; dinner served after take-off
Arrive at
Dublin early Monday morning and enjoy a breakfast along the way,
before heading on to Bray for the next five nights. We'll arrive in time
to explore downtown Bray or to simply rest this afternoon.
You might then partake of the indoor pool and hot tub in the hotel's
gorgeous leisure center or simply rest a bit...A welcome dinner will be served at our hotel this evening (B, D) |

NOV 9 |
This morning, after a hearty
Irish breakfast, we travel to the Wicklow Mountains and National
Park, Sally Gap and Wicklow Town for lunch and exploration.
Depending upon road conditions, we may drive along the seacoast
before returning to Bray. Tonite, dinner is on your own so you
can experience the local cuisine as you like - perhaps dinner by
the Irish Sea?? (B) |

NOV 10 |
Following breakfast, we'll be
dropped off in Dublin mid-morning, by Trinity College, to visit
the Book of Kells. Afterward, you'll have the entire day to
explore Dublin as you like. We'll arrange an afternoon return
coach for those who prefer to return to Bray, or you may stay
and continue to explore all that the city has to offer. You may
also return to Bray at any time via Dublin's rapid transit train
- the DART, which has a station very close to our hotel. Dinner
is on your own tonite, either in Dublin or back in Bray. (B) |

NOV 11 |
Today we'll
depart for lovely Glendalough and its Monastic Site, founded by
St. Kevin and dating back to the 6th century. We will visit the
Meeting of the Waters, stop at Johnny Fox's Pub, the "highest
pub in Ireland" atop the Dublin Mountains and also visit Avoca
Handweavers. The village of Avoca is where the UK television
series
Ballykissangel
was shot. Dinner
will be served at our hotel this evening (B, D) |

NOV 12 |
After breakfast this morning We head off to Powerscourt House,
Gardens and Waterfall. This is the site of the most recent
concert given by Celtic Woman, filmed in high-definition and
showing currently on PBS - "Songs from the Heart." The waterfall
itself is worth the visit!! The remainder of the day will be at
leisure in Bray. Tonite is our farewell dinner at the hotel. (B, D) |

After our last
Irish breakfast, early this morning, we depart for
Dublin Airport, Taking with us treasured memories of our
trip to the Emerald Isle. (B) |
